Stephen 1992 Mustang Thread

Well I'm starting a thread to document what has become a mild restoration on this car. I bought it back in March for 300 bucks. It didnt run but that was easily fixed with a new starter. The car is a 2.3L and the previous owner put on a long tube header and glasspack, so it sounds like a pissed off bumblebee haha. For now all I'm going to do it is restore the interior. The motor will stay the way it is probably until I finish school since it will be my commuter car to and from the city. Interior will be change to black and gray with the seats out of my 99 Mustang. I will more then likely be painting the interior pieces vs getting new ones. But at any rate here it is

Starting taking the interior out

This is what I found underneath the carpet

Cool project. How much for the suburban next to it? That's a very cool truck.

WOW. That's even more awesome. I didn't see the front end before. That's definitely a collector vehicle right there. Would love to get a hold of one of those. Could be worth a pretty penny with some restoring.

Yea its really cool. Its actually in relatively good condition. Supposedly been sitting in a garage since 78. I know its been there since around 95 or 96. They replaced some of the interior carpet with that fake grass stuff and the door panels with cheap wood paneling but thats really the worst of it. I hope one day to get my hands on it and restore it though
