Speed Sensor Bolt size?

Speed Sensor Bolt size?

Anyone know the size and thread pattern of the speed sensor bolt in the tranny, i need a new one cuz its leaking fluid cuz the bolt is stripped?

I believe its a 1/4 20 bolt short length maybe 3/4". But if it leaks doesnt mean you need the bolt. You probably can replace the sensor for around 35 $ or maybe even just the oring. I would clean off the seat area also to ensure a good seal.

thanks, im going to get a new sensor but the bolt is stripped and i cant tighten it down. im gonna try that size bolt

If the bolt is stripped, good chance the threads in the trans are damaged. Might want to run a tap down to clean it up

I dont think any. It may though if you jack the front of the car up higher than the back,or if its overfilled. But you should be ok.
