smoke coming out of passenger side exhaust pipe

I have a 90 5.0 I had new trick flow valve springs and seats replaced at the local mustang shop about 2 years ago. Now its making a sound like the exhaust is leaking from the collector but I have tightened it up so that can't be the issue!

So my question is could the exhaust valve be leaking?? Blown head gasket?? Or could it be the piston rings??

What color smoke? White smoke usually head gasket. Blue smoke oil. Ring or valve guide. Black smoke usually fuel. Could be burned vale or seat.

Well its kinda hard to tell what color it is! I only see it when the engine is reving up. It looks white but could have a blue tint to it!

Probably should get it checked out at a shop man. Really impossible to diagnose it here.

Sounds like a really good excuse for an engine upgrade.

This motor is already built .30 over bore on the block, forged pistons, ford racing f cam, high flow oil pump, you know just a few nice pieces but I have been running the car hard for the past 5 years! Lol it beats up on all the ricers around here. And runs 13.4 at the track

Al is on the right track. could be a burnt valve, bad valve seal, etc. If you don't have alot of tools for testings ie cylinder bleed down, compression tester, etc. then find a good shop. a blown headgasket will also have a fruity smell coming out of the tail pipe but this will more depend on how early on the leak is. sounds more like a bad valve or ring since you get more smoke raising the rpms. They also sell test strips to test for exhaust trace in the coolant, this could also help point you in a direction but like Al stated some things are pia to figure out over the interweb.
