Well, parts were not ready at machine shop, at least they were working on it. Block has been bored, pistons matched to cylinders, deck was milled, head bolts have been drilled and tapped for ARP 1/2" studs, notching for stroker clearance has been done, crank is polished, rods have been checked.

i think another good question is how long will it take to get it properly tuned. That combo shoud make lots of power, but without it properly tuned, your starving the engines potential. Hopefully youll be in your glory by the time its completed.

Ang, do yourself a favor for 2 reasons.....first get a set of the 1 3/4" MAC shorty headers or long tubes if you go that route, then run 3" exhaust all the way out. This will do two things....first it will actually make the car a little quieter....2.5" with blower is going to make it VERY loud and akin to glasspacks on a chevy due to the air being forced through it....and 3" will give you better breathing and yield more power.
Don't run an FMU...you don't need it....
Close your plug gap to about .035 or you will experience a stutter from the spark being blown out.....
If you haven't already I highly recommend O-ringing the heads and using ARP head studs....this is an insurance plan

Don't run platinum plugs....use a Motorcraft or autolite plug with a 32C heat range(1 colder than stock).
We put together a 331 with Vortech a little while back with seriously ported Dart Sr. heads and made 507 RWHP with 496 ft. lbs of torque at 14psi. Your torque should be a little higher with the 347 but your HP and torque numbers will depend on the tune and boost level you choose.
Good luck and drop me an email if you need anything

Thanks Paul,
I do plan to use plugs 1 to 2 ranges lower with closer gap.
I am using BBK shory headers, the 2 1/2" pipes were already there, I may change later if I have to.
I am not using an FMU I will use 42# injectors.

im going 401-450rwhp. Especially since its only 6psi. Its probably going to be in the low 400's. Defintely entertain Paul's thoughts on this, but do your research as well. That 331/vortech he is talking was awesome!.

Thanks for voting. I have took Pauls comments for use. I am not as smart as many of the folks on this forum, but I am good at recognizing a right answer and good recommendations.
ps I also voted the same as you.
