rollbar?

I am reading the nhra rules and figure ill need rollbar. Have not taken car to track but I figure it will run in the 10's. I still want to use back seat so my two sons can ride around town with me. So I guess my question is do they make a rollbar that will still alow back seat use I'm a hatch back also can you give advice on brand ect....

Oh yeah. Besides being nhra approved. Make sure if its a street car it has removable door bar. And that it works with stock interior. Also beware if its weld in or bolt in.

To be nhra approved from what I can tell it has to be welded. It is my go to work car . But with my job I drive it twice a week and a few times on weekend. I bought the car from guy who was wanting it to be track car but did not get the safety put in.

I would contact these people http://www.maximummotorsports.com/st...&cPath=121_126 I have used their Roll bars before. I had the 6 point with swing outs and never had a problem with track tech guys. I event Broke into the 9's on a 6 point. After that I went to a full cage.

Yes you can, But in all honesty. I wouldn't stick kids in the backseat of a car with a rollbar in it. You have that middle bar that comes across. And if you get into a accident and one of the kids hits there heads on that bar. It could be a serious problem.
