I love how my car drives too, not that it's fast or anything. I think I'm going to keep my Fox "as is" for now too, the 2011 is taking up most of my time anyway.

As far as I know, all 5 sp GT's in 85 came with a carb. And the AOD came with fuel injection.

My view is that no matter how much you modify a Fox, it will never be as good an overall performer as a 2011. Since you already have one of those, may as well leave the Fox stock and enjoy it for what it is.

I am doing same with my Fox... I actually "unmodified" it as I restored it, so it will be pretty much all stock when done. For pure driving exhilaration, newer stuff is just tbetter...

Keep as close to factory and buy another to fox rod!.....lol! Really you need to decide what you want. What is the purpose of the car. Sounds like you bought it to drive and enjoy. So I say build it and enjoy. Just my opinion.

I would just enjoy it for what it is, these cars are dated performance wise and most I see are modded. I enjoy seeing them unmolested. Just my two cents tho!

I had to build in the performance,I needed,to keep up with the new Stangs, which I can't afford anymore. 20,000 miles on it now.

:word:

take all the stock off and mod it how you want. just don't toss anything out. if you want it to be stock again down the line, then you still can.

plus, if you do go that route, you get two projects for the price of one!

Life is too short to keep it stock. Ford made a million Fox cars, mod it have fun.
