Redbaron93's '93 Convertible renewel on life
Well guys and gals, noticed my thread is also gone so here is a refresher on what's been happening with the convertible. As many of you know I lost my wife, Deborah, to cancer back in March of '08. I decided to re-do the car in her memory. She loved to drive it as much as I so it only seemed fitting. Here's some pics of transformation from when we bought it to now. Many thanks to Dave(jacostang) for the dash plaque. Car has a new cloth top, '01 Cobra seats, rears cut to fit, Ford 302/340HP crate motor w/gear drive, rebuilt transmission, cross drilled/slotted front rotors, pretty much rebuilt suspension, rebuilt rearend w/3.73 gears and aluminum differential cover plus alot of other little parts replaced. Car had 155K at time of rebuild. Now it only gets driven once in a while and to shows. Made trips to the 45th Anniversary Show and Mustang Week with no problems. Gets close to 20mpg on the road. Terrible gas mileage around town 'cause of the auto. Motor really needs a stick shift behind it.

I've seen them on coupes and look ok. I had mine w/o the spoiler and I personally couldn't stand it w/o it. Had the car had the stock hood it probably would have been ok but with the hood it just needed something back there.
yup... I'm putting a hood scoop on mine too, thats why I figured I oughtta put a spioler on it.
Looks like the same spoiler I have, but I got mine from 50resto. Probably wouldn't do it again though if I had the chance. My sub rattles the heck out of that thing sometimes.
Very nice though! I love that interior!
