Does anyone else have this problem? I know it bugs me, becasue it is so loaud, but it only does it when the windows go up, but not always

Well... I have the same problem in my 88 but its not when the windows go down. Just the opposite. If I figure it out I will let you know.

I have a 1990 LX 5.0. Both windows emit an ear-piercing squeak when going up. Been doing that since brand new. Never really bothered to have it looked at. My friends can't stand it.

Really, its just dirty? Thats good news, i didnt want to take anything apart. Well looks like its time to clean the car again - too bad there was a torrential downpour and it hasnt stopped raining yet!
