I'm thinking of installing a 125 shot NOS system on my 85 GT. I know I need to pump up the amount of fuel delivered to the carb but I'm having a hard time finding a mechanical fuel pump that will fit the 5.0L. I would rather not use a electric pump if possible. I tried the Edelbrock fuel pump but the body of the pump hits the timing chain cover. The Holley fuel pump looks to be the same size as the Edelbrock. Anyone here run into this problem and what did you do to rectify it?

Are you running a dry shot?

Looks like I'm not running anything now. No one makes an aftermarket mechanical fuel pump for the 5.0L. The only way I can run NOS is to go with an electric pump, change the fuel tank sender, and run new and bigger fuel line. Right now, its not worth it.
