New shoes for the SVO....

I finished the new round of mods just in time for the 30th MCA show here at Barbers Motorsport park this past weekend. 13" Bullitt brakes up front and Bullitt rear brakes, tubular K-member, Koni Yellows and new wheels(17x9's)....

I saw your car at Barbers, it impressed me enough to where I had to take a picture of it. Love the color and the wheels look great.

Wow! My favorite Mustang I owned was my 1st one, '85 SVO. I had more fun in that car than anything before or after. Must Have SVO..

I love it. Is that a factory color? I still want to see someone try the Ford Racing FR500 18" wheels on an SVO. Is it me, or do both of those pics show the front end sloping downward slightly more than normal? Just looks a little off somehow...

It's a factory Ford color...just not for the SVO, it is the teal from the '93 Cobra.

The front end doesn't look any different than original or any other SVO...they don't have the same look/shape as the 87-93 aero nose cars.

My God!
That is my favorite Fox ever!
I never really dug the SVO until now.

Great work Paul!

Thanks for all the kind words....I've actually been driving it a lot lately since the show...sat for a year in the showroom waiting for me to get to it for the latest mods and had 0 miles put on it....now I have put almost 700 miles on it in the past 3 weeks and it feels good to be driving it again. I'm thinking about installing a watts link in it next...but I want to get the new engine I built into the '89 GSP Mustang so I can drive it again.

It's not finished yet and it's small....I can squeeze 4 cars into it but 3 are comfortable. I still have painting to do as well as the tile floor. It sits next to the waiting room at my shop and I have a pair of french doors from my house remodeling that look into the showroom area. Once finished it should be pretty nice but I haven't had the time to devote to it recently so it's a little here and there.

Here are a couple of shots when it was filled with SVO's a few months ago.

I've got current and vintage posters, some pictures and other cool things to display once I get it finished.

Yes, that hood is a one-off custom part....took a standard flat fiberglass Fox hood, cut the front edge off and made a fiberglass SVO front section and added it to the hood. Then the vents are custom in the center using Escort grill pieces and the side vents are borrowed from a Z34 Lumina.

wasn't there a SVO on the racing circuit in the 80's with that same yellow/red paint scheme? I love the flared wheel wells.

Not that I am aware of....but the paint scheme inspiration came from the old Scott Pruitt Motorcraft car that was red/white.
