I sure could use anyones help in locating a pair of new door moldings for a 1990 LX convertible. I have looked at most parts catalogs and they are either back ordered or are unable to get them due to no one making after market moldings yet! Please help! Thank you in advance.

What molding are you looking for? I have a 90 vert that I am parting out. Pretty sure all the moldings are good. I assume you need the dew wipes that run along the base of the windows. Do you have the "shrek" ear mirrors or the regular mirrors?

 

I am looking for the main door moldings. I need both sides. I had an amauter body guy try and paint my stang. Well, long story short. He screwed it up! In the process, he messed up most of the side body moldings. He bent the hell out of the aluminum piece that runs along the back side. I was told later that if you bend them. You can never straighten them out. I was able to find the smaller moldings that go behind the front quarter and in front of the rear quarter. But, can not find the longer door moldings (these would be the "door ding" pieces). Not the piece that runs along the very top of the door along the window sweep. And what "shrek" mirrors. I can't say I have ever heard them called that. So, can't help you there.
