Was looking for some input from you guys or gals. I've got a 92 Mustang 5.0 GT hatchback and wanting to know what is the ideal lowering springs to go for. 2.0" or 1.5" or any other size recommended. I realize it will scrap a little but don't want it to scrap over ever little bump. Thanks

I woudn't worry about the lowering height, I would be more concerned with ground clearance. Whatever brand of springs you are looking at, I'd look at the drop it will give, then measure the lowest point on the car (the cats on my Saleen) and subtract that height. My Saleen has 2.5" of ground clearance, which is practically nothing, but its not driven everday.

Hope this helps.

Sounds Ok to me. You shouldn't have too many issues, except with a high speed bump.

What size wheels and tires do you want to run with the drop?

LOVE the color! You should be fine with a 1.5" drop, just take entrance curbs at an angle.

Cool thanks. I did pick up the BBK 1.5" springs but didn't know the difference between the cheaper ones and the expensive ones. One is specific rate and the other is progressive rate. How much of a difference is there between the two? Besides the price. Ride i guess?
