Pretty cool Capri. Though a turbo-4 would have been just as cool as the powerplant. Along with a 1986 Capri 5.0 (the same as 1979 Cobra, 1982 Mustang GT, etc.) front air dam.

There is some strange information on this car. The build date is 3/85, but Tire Sticker still has the Metric 220/390 TRX tires listed. I thought 1984 was the last year for the TRX wheel package? But the 225/60/15 tires are listed also which would indicate 1985 . . .

Definetely a very nice example. I too would have liked to see the 4 cyl turbo engine under the hood but oh well. needs a little freshening but definetley a good start!

I like it. With a paint job and some interior freshening, that would be a mean car. I am thinking it would look good in Redfire Metallic.

Well the paint may not be in great shape. But its a very good starting point. The body looks to be pretty straight. Capris are getting really hard to find and thats really not to bad of an example compared to what you usually come across.

Now an ASC Mclaren Capri vert. That would be the ultimate Capri!

I saw a mclaren capri at a car show a few years back. That was a really sharp car and I have not seen one since. I wonder how many were made. Does anyone know?

If he fixes it up stock it could be worth a pretty penny
