I notices while changing my O2 sensors

Hey guys,

I noticed under the car, theres a niple (tube) on the h pipe, it looks like something should connect to it. Theres a bent pipe not to far form it that looks like it will go in there. Is that pipe coming from the smog pump?
Will the car run ok if I dont fix it. Also, that pipe is bent... wonder if I should at least try to unbend it back even if I dont plan on connecting it back to the H pipe (if thats even where it goes)

Thanks, Mike

if it also connects to both ends, then yeah, it sounds like the air injection/smog pump air tube to me - especially if it's near the (rear) catalytic converters.

Yeah, was hoping one of you guys with the stock H pipe could tell me, I dont know any1 else with a 5.0 Thanks for all the replys though, it's gotta be smog related. The car runs good, just sounds like an exhaust leak. I think if I leave it as is, I'm taking a chance of killing the cats

Anyway, ya can't kill these cars man!!
