Help !car wont start

Yesterday i tried to start the car up in the morning and it wouldnt start so i removed the maf sensor and it started up(right now i think that was just luck.
this time it didnt start. it feels like it always does when i try to start it but it just dosent start.

my wife drove around for a bit yesterday and she didnt have any problems when she needed to start it up,was it because the engine was warm?

we talked about needing a new maf sensor can that cause a car not to start. Can you start the car with the maf sensor off? like i did yesterday or was that just luck

now if you can start the car with the maf sensor off the what i have is coming from somewhere else right? please help
this is my only ride

what usally cause's a car not to start with my symtoms

IM A NOOB!!!! Guys i just read this after a google search-First step here is to listen for the fuel pump running inside the gas tank. When you turn the key to run, you should easily hear the pump come on, run for a few seconds to build fuel pressure, then turn off. If you do not hear it, it could mean that the fuel pump or circuitry is bad. (Fuel pump failure is a common problem on modern cars.)

I DONT HEAR THAT !!!!!!! i remember hearing it before the problem but not now how do i change this sucker out and how hard is itand how can i test it to see if that's the prob.. thanks. ill pay 10$ to who ever can help me out succesfully on this one

i checked the fuel cut off switch and it wasent triped now where's the relay under the drivers seat at? the car did suffer a impact and now im having this problem

Hopefully you dont have a lot of fuel in the tank, but you have to drop the fuel tank if it is indeed the pump. The relay is located under the driver side seat. It looks like this Good Luck.

IMHO the problem you have is intermitant and points to another link in the fuel pump mystery . The fuel pump itself may not be the problem . The other suspect could be the relay as mentioned could cause the "moody" start-won't start scenario. But so will a bad distributor control module mounted to the outside of the distributor . It controls not only spark, but also several other functions. Take it off and get it tested at Auto Zone. I hate their products, but their testing is free and can eliminate a lot of guessing . If the module is bad on any part of the tests , replace it with OEM Ford module or a Borg-Warner. Stay away from Wells or Blue Streak or Federated Auto Parts because they don't last long! Auto Zone handles some poor choices for quality. If they try to hand you Bosch, hand it back.

you couldnt be more on the money. i had the car towed to my mech.
and i wanted to give it one more try before i left it there so i went ahead and tried to turn it on. Guess what? it turned on but without the sound of the fuel pump WTF so i went to the rear and poped the cutoff switch and tried to turn it on again. No luck , then i went to push the cutoff in and the click noise that came from it that time was way louder and more like (im pushed now) kinda noise. so i go back and try to start it again and what do i hear???? the fuel pump!!!

What i think happened was that that switch was kinda in limbo somehow where it would go up and down but it wasent locking in.
Im sure it has everything to do with me running off that curb.....

if anyone has a transmittion crossmember let me know ill buy it off of you.
