I have a 1990 lx 2.3 and the guy before me ripped out the ac but now the heat doesn't work. I've replaced everything but the controls and just wanna make sure that when he ripped out the ac that he couldn't have broken anything while did it so I don't replace the controls just to find out that's not it. It's not plugged it blows air just regular air it's not warm or cold just normal. And living in central Oregon you need warm air from September to June.

 

Sounds like the blend door might not be hooked up or vacuum to the door "motor". Check those, assumingthe heater core is hooked up.
