Pulled of my heads at a shop, and the only numbers I saw were 5A30. I was wondering if they are just stock heads. Came off of an 85 5.0 lx

 

not sure what you are looking at, they may be base casting numbers. The cast number is on the underside of the heads. Flip them over valve side facing you, the cast number is cast into the heads intake runner between the pushrod holes. The cast # for the '85 5.0. is E5AE. see if you can find it other numbers.
