Floor pan replacement

My 1989 Mustang GT needs a passenger's side floor pan. Do I need to get a replacement floor pan or are there other options like using a piece of diamond plate? This car will never be fully restored. I just want to be able to drive it & have it be a safe car to drive.

Prolly the best thing to do is to get a replacement floor pan. That way everything will still lines up and you wouldnt have any prob;ems later on.
