Hey Andy, Pony's did NOT come on '89 cars! :notnice: And... The Welds ARE worth much more than the stock LX rims. So I don't know why you are telling people they have no clue what they are talking about!

P.S. WANNARIDE, Your car is HOT! Too bad you are selling it, and I hope you sell it to someone who will take equal care of it as you did.
Did I say anything about them coming from the factory with them? No, they came with 10 holes and I know that. Although you can pick up really nice sets of them for 400 or less with tires. I know its all about personal preference there , but draglights are out like disco. This car would look unbelievable with Chrome ponies or Bogart d10's.

Ps read some of the other posts from Fordracing. I am not trying to bash him , but he is giving people total false statements. This car is worth no less than 6,500. Heck if it had chrome ponies on it he could get around 8,000 maybe more. Its hard to find clean fox cars.

They say that if you love something, youll let it free, but in this case, it would be like letting your kitty cat into a den of hayenas. That car is beautiful, and you know everything about it. You have had it from day one, you konw how it has been treated, taken care of, etc... and that alone is worth alot. That car is in immaculate condition from what oyu say, and if you decide to sell it, more than likely someone will buy it who wont care or appreciate the car for what it is. tere must be a way in which to keep the car. If you sell it, youll regret it for the rest of your life. IMO, keep the car, it is worth way more than 6, 7, 8 or 15 grand. Youve always had it. What are the chances that youll ever have this oppurtinity again, where you buy a new mustang and keep it for a long period of time. The sentimental value, and the fact that it is and has only ever been yours is worth more than money can buy.

There is a BIG part of me that totally agrees with that. My Wife and I just started dating when I bought this car, so as you can see it has some family memories. She hates to get rid of it just as much as i. But its starting to become a little tiresome with all the storage routines (engine run times, fluid changes, cleaning, etc.) and we rarely drive it anymore. Wouldnt be so bad if I could just lock it up for a while without fooling with it. But with the changing climates around here I wouldnt feel to good about that.

great looking car. should have posted it last feb when i picked up my 92. the notchbacks are becoming really hard to find. yeah i know its a pain to store. but you will probably regret selling it. i kinda regret selling my 86. especially when its like 75 and sunny...................ahhhh top down! LOL, but you should easily get 6K + for it. if you do want to sell it. dont budge on the price and wait for the right person to offer what you want for it. they have a couple 92's w/ like 10k for like 14,995 here

If you have "mint" Foxes around you (especially COUPES) for $4,000 then you are about to become a rich individual!!!!! All you have to do is buy them and relist them for sale on the net and you can easily make a quick turnaround and profit!!!

Sorry but I am calling BS here . First you have to be very careful with the term "Mint"....I'll bet good money that the foxes you see for that money are nowhere near "mint"....and IF they are you had better take my advice and start buying and selling because I promise you that you are about to make a killing!

I know the real world market out there and I can guarantee that "mint" foxes let alone coupes are a rare bird IF they exist out there

I meant mild miles and good shape by mint. like 70-80k miles and good shape. Nice paint and interior not extremely perfect but nice.

I paid $4K Canadian for my 89 notchie 5.0. It's not mint but it's not far off.

PS: It's got pony wheels and a 3.73 gear, Flowmasters, Centerforce clutch, Hurst short shifter, etc... wish it had the Welds though, disco or not! I love those wheels!

Bogart D-10s are on everything lately, especially 03 cobras, i didnt give wrong advice, I just told what i believe is a good price for it, no way would i pay more than 5k for it. But some would, i guess this is an opinion question.

performance autosport has a 93 lx coupe. bonestock white w/ black cloth 5spd 12k for 15,500. ultra cleanand they sell every last one they get. low mileage stock notchbacks can get a ton of money on the market. even though KBB only list them for like 5k. man they get their hands on some awesome cars! they come to the shows around with with some of them. WOW! just give me a couple hundred million and an unlimited garage!

I would buy a new Mach or a Crappy condition fox before paying 15k for a mint notch. Get a junk one for 1500 and clean it up and have a mint beautiful car for yourself that is to your spec for 5k
