I was wondering, what's the skinny on this 5.0 Explorer intake business? Is it really the equivalent of a
GT-40 intake?

I was also wondering if the lower intake is of the same caliber, or should one just keep the stock lower intake from their 5.0?

How much is one of these things worth?

Thanks!

I'd take the explorer intake over the GT-40 any day. The only thing the GT-40 has going for it is looks. The explorer intake uses the same lower and the upper can be ported to flow way more air than tha GT-40.

Most importantly, how much power do you plan to make or are making?

Each 1 CFM is roughly worth 2 HP
