This is a friend's car. I think it is the fastest 306 Mustang in Puerto Rico. It has ran a best time of 9.32 @ 143 mph. And soon will be upgrading to a 347.

That has just a little bit of torque huh? WOW, that left tire :worship:

I'ts not bad, considering it is only a small 302 with NOS But the suspension was done with the purpose that the car doesn't lift the tires, and it ran 9.41 like that. But after a few changes, the engine found more power and that's the result.

Ported blower and a trip to Murillo Motorsports and I'll be in the 10's

Hope you arent planning that on the stock IRS? What suspension setup and tires you planning on running?
Scott, I broke my first and only halfshaft in Bowling Green at the NMRA finals in 03. :bang: I did the swap to a live axel just a couple months after that. I have no worries anymore about stuff in the rear breaking apart like I did when I drove with the IRS.

Did you sell the IRS? I see them go on ebay and in ads for 2500 dollars

Doug, I swapped a friend for his built up solid rear. He gave me all his stuff. I gave him all mine. It only took 4 hours to do both cars. Now he has an 01 Mineral Grey GT with IRS from an 03 cobra.

No, I don't know him. But it's good to know that there is some good puertorican representation up there

I know that one. Both are cobras, and the 03 was the one that ran 10.6 with ET Streets and IRS. And if I'm not mistaken, the cylinder heads my car currently have, was the factory ones from the 93 Cobra, which I think it still have an SC too :worship:
