After washing the engine with some gunk we noticed that some coolant leaked after we came back from getting gas. We dont know how to get it to stop leaking. Any help is appreciated.

Heres the scenario:

Its on the neck that connects the top radiator hose to the intake manifold. The leak is obbvious.

you mean its leaking from the upper radiator hose where it connects to the thermostat housing? or its leaking around the housing to the thermostat? check all clamps to make sure they are snug and check for cracks in the hoses. and last it might be the gasket is bad to the thermostat housing.

Its the chrome piece where the thermostat is but it is leaking from that bolt lookin thing. All the clamps and hoses are fine.

Take the bolt out and wrap it with teflon tape to see if that will stop the leak
