Choice?

If you guys had your choice of 87-93 what model would you pick my uncle is going to pick up a beautiful 5.0 fox tomorrow two-tone color red and black has a few rough places but not bad at all.. The guy is asking 7000$ it has a few things done to it. It is pushing 350 hp do you think that's a good deal???

91 or 92 would be my choice. Those were pretty much the strongest foxes stock.

If your going to get a 87-93 model go with a 89-92. Best years for that model

He just purchased the 87 earlier today he got the guy down to 6800$ but when he got it home he realized the sunroof leaks and the hatchback doesn't shut all the way but other than that it's a solid car my profile pic is a pic of it tell me what you think

The hatch issue is probably a simple striker adjustment, my hatch on mine when i got it about two months ago it would close but if i hit a bump or if i pulled up on it it would come open easy, i loosened the striker and moved it into position with the latch thats on the hatch and then tightened the striker up and that was it, simple no cost fix. If thats not iy look that the plastic bushing around the striker see if its still on there or what kind of condition its in.

1993 Cobra because I'm biased :P

88 California car and 89-92 are the best ones to get because of forged internals and mass air. I prefer the 88-89 without the airbag because you get the tilt wheel and the information light cluster in the dash bezel. LX's are the lighter weight cars and will run slightly faster.

I'd want another like my old Deep Emerald Green 92 LX 5.0. She wasn't a track star or anything, but she was MINE. Full exhaust and some mild tuning. Black Rikens, Saleen ground effects, GT wing (hated Saleen wings), SVO tails. Still have the ground effects and wheels in storage.
