which carb should i use?

ok i'll be running and aluminum 4v intake and i want to buy a 600 cfm carb
i'm not familliar with carbs and dont know whats best weather it be electric choke manual or somthing else

its a 5.0 litre 302 looking at about 350 hp with a 600 cfm

which brand do you recomend

I recommend Holley, and why would u swap a efi motor out for a stupid carb?

cheaper for the hp if you can find me a 375 hp engine for under $2,500 new just lemme know

what about electric choke and manual choke whats the difference

manual choke, u have to do it yourself, electric choke, it chokes itself for u.

darn...i never studied carbs aint been alive during when they were used....lol...what the heck is choking to begin with

Oh boy, I think you just need to stick with your EFI set-up and buy a used procharger, they go for 2200-2400 complete with intercooler, its a bolt on kit

what the problem with the carb i dont see whats the problem....i want a more reliable engine amyway i dont want 150000 miles on it and i need the extra power i dont want to buy a supercharger i want fresh parts...of course i know way more about efi so carbureted is way out of my element so i dont know the pros and cons i could tell someone about efi but a carb and i'm lost...way before my time

i'm gonna pick up a used fox with some engine problems for $3000
then buy a crate engine with about 300-350 hp for $2500
buy some shorty headers from ford racing for $650
buy cat back, 3 inch, super 40 flowmaster system for $950
buy a set of 3:73 gears for $100
carb or intake $500
variuose parts i may need becuase of problems $500

Eh, slap a holley avenger 670 cfm carb on it and be done with it, they are setup for 300 to 400 hp I beleive. check jegs, or summit, or who ever you buy your gear from. the avenger carbs are listed by HP rating and CFM.
