bought some new goodies for the fox

I installed my headers last week and to compliment them I just ordered a MAC off road h-pipe from LRS. A Pro 5.0 shifter from Mustangs Unlimited is also on the way. Finally, a fresh set of Falken Ziex ZE-512 rubber is coming from DTD.

Next up I think i'm gonna get a rear-end rebuild kit and some 3.55s to throw in at the same time. I noticed a very large leak of gear oil right where the driveshaft meets the differential. I'm not sure what the exact problem is, but the driveline has been giving me slack when I let off the gas (kinda jerks a little when you let off) I'm thinking that needs to be addressed before long. Only problem is I know I can't rebuild a rear-end or install gears myself and I don't know of any professionals around here who will do it without screwing up, so I think I might make an appointment at CJ Pony Parts all the way down in Harrisburg, if the price of labor is fair.

After that I believe its on to new rear control arms and better forms of chassis stiffening.

oh jeez, I forgot to mention the MAC Straight Shot CAI I ordered from Central Florida Motorsports! It was 30 bucks cheaper than LRS and came with free shipping!

If they get paid to do a job, I consider them a "professional" but that doesn't mean they're a good professional.

heres some pics...

before the MAC Straight Shot:

after (I should have cleaned the smudges, it actually has a mirror like finish)

this air filter element is freaking huge

this thing is awesome, it has a much more solid feel and its even more fun to row through the gears. its almost a shame to cover it up with the boot

How does that 600 dollar exhuast rattle sound on that new-but-trying-to-look-old-because-ford-forgot-why-they-changed-the-design-of-the-mustang-over-thirty-years-ago-in-the-first-place craptastic '06?
(I don't warranty my work.)

j/k, but seriously... S197s are crap, I won't start about the overzealous owners.

the h-pipe will go on this sunday if theres space in your driveway and it doesn't rain again

go back to your s197 forum where they list Zanio as a mod, and aren't joking about it
