Hey guys,

My 93 feature mustang needs some new tires and I'm curious as to how wide I can go without hindering performance. Stock is 225/55/16 so I was looking at the BF Goodrich g-Force T/A KDW. Anyway to squeeze in a wider tire?

Thanks!

I had 255/50's on the stock '89 turbine rims I used to have, at least on the back. I may have had 245/50's on the front...it was awhile ago so I can't 100% remember.

I have a different question along these lines; at discounttiredirect they sell 4-lug 17x9 inch '95 R, '00 R, and '03 Cobra wheels for foxes, and I was wondering if they would fit front and back with no problems. I'm pretty sure 275/40R17 is the proper tire size for a 17x9 and I have a feeling the quad shocks will get in the way for a wheel that wide and they might even rub in the front. Anyone know for sure?
