Best Caster/Camber Plates for '89 5.0?

Right now I have BBK's caster/camber plates installed and they are OK, but I've never really liked them. I bought them a long time ago, and I'm sure there are better things out there now.

What are your favorites in about the same price range as the BBK's?

I don't even really care about caster. I'll put a little more caster on than stock, but that's about it.

Here are some, but just looking for some feedback before I order:

Thanks for the help!

Ford made some minor suspension changes between '89 and '90. I'm not sure what all was changed but I think something about different tie-rod ends and the strut tower got smaller in size, I suppose that could warrant a different C/C plate but I'm not sure. Maybe Paul can chime in on this.

Thanks - maybe the ones that are for 1979-93 are smaller so they fit all years.

Pricey, but I think I'll go with the Maximum Motorsports chrome kit. It's mostly a show car, so the extra cost is justified.

You would have to ask Maximum Motorsports why they have 2 seperate listings....I have seen no differences that warrant it. Everyone but them that I have seen have one plate for 79-93 applications.

I emailed them, but no reply, yet.

In that link I posted above to Summit, Ford Racing and HAL have two different kits, too.

Mid-90 and 91-93 is when the tie rod changed and the fender changed as well to accomodate the 16x7 pony rim. I can only shrug as others because that is only speculation, not their reason. Call them instead of email.

It is possible that due to the fender change they could get more caster out of them(more fender clearance) and therefore a new number. Kenny Brown only had one listing as well as a number of others.

In 1990 the factory relocated the mustangs upper front strut mounting points slightly closer to the cowl. For this revision (90-93) it increased the otherwise non adjustable front wheel caster settings to slightly reduce understeer. Hope that helps.
