It's funny that those taillights are described as "euro" when only the asians use them on factory cars... I doubt there's a european company that would ever use the Altezza-style lenses on one of their products. :P
PS: I like the car, lights excepted. Question, did you consider shaving the side mouldings when you removed the door handles? I think the side trim on the Foxes really dates them and I'd love to scrap mine if I was sure that there wasn't drilled holes or anything scary underneath them...

That was never a possibility, and for a few reasons.
1) Underneath the side mouldings are indentations that would need either alot of body filler or a huge sheet metal job.
2) All of the body pieces for the fox body (including the front bumper) have the "trim" already in the piece to connect to the side of the car. Although nothing is possible, i cannot imagine how much extra a job like that would cost.
I'd love to get rid of the moulding too, but a job like that would be waaaaay too expensive for the difference it would really do to the car. Thanks for your comments, i appreciate them. Stay tuned, in a few months i will have great pics of the car (when winter breaks).

Wow...pretty incredible dayssleeping. You might be starting a new trend for the future! Better call the invention network now. Funny thing was, here in NY, cops dont like those lights, and they wouldnt like yours too (THEY STILL ARENT RED ENOUGH!) Nice try though.

So here's another shot at trying LEDs. So what ya think?
Please notice I have only done the left side for comparison to the old LEDS

Well, i cant please everybody. You dont like them, and alot of people dont like them. But i like them on the car. The regular LX tail lights just never looked right to me on the car....i had them on for a year and never liked them. If there were other options for lights, i probably would have gotten something different, but in terms of lights, this is the choice i went with.

I have door poppers inside the door, so when i hit my alarm button, the doors pop open. Unfortunatly, my driver side door doesnt seem to work since i first used it after the winter, so i will probably have to get another popper. It works just like poppers for the hatch of any fox bodies cars....just pops it open a bit.

Nice. I like what you did to the doors. I just got brave and removed my door handles and rear hatch lock cyl. I love the smooth look. I like the look of the cowl vent, but i think i am going to go with a smooth one.I removed my heater plenum so i really don't need the vent any more except for the wiper motor. So are the popper kits easy to install???I have never done this before.

If you have basic electronic knowledge you can do this easy. Theres a cylinder that you need to bolt on inside the door, and attach a few wires, but thats really it. Im assuming that you removed the locks on the doors as well...they arent needed. You will get many looks for a mod that is relatively simple, yet really eye-appealing.

I had a modified 79 that I made tail lights for. I fit mesh screen all the way accross the back, with a cut out for the plate and put LEDs behind it, this was before LEDs were made for cars so I had to make the whole set up. I had painted the car black and the back mesh made it look pretty evil. Wish I had pics to show you all but it got hit, with my sorry **** in it.
