Its been a while but they can be a challenge.
Are you sure the motors are dead?
They each have 3 plastic bearings that are notorious for going bad. Have ya plenty of sockets and a Phillips head screw driver?

As I recall ya just take out the speaker panel and behind that is another black plastic shroud covering the motor.
You will start out with to top down of course.
But, if I remember correctly. You may want to bump the top up partially to help get some mechanisms out of the way.
