Check out this link. This guy throws a set of 18"s on the front, and 20" on the back of a 89 GT. It looks amazing!! All im wondering is how the heck he did it? Did he tuck in the fenders? I have my car lowered, and 17 inch seems like a tight fit as it is...

20" fox blades

I gotta admit...this guy did a nice job on his ride.
If anyone knows how this can be done on a fox, let me know. Maybe one day i might have $5K to spend on rims.

The whole thing is a bit ricey for my tastes. The fox is an old school looking car and i think they should stay that way. But they, thats just my opinion.

sorry I don't like that thing much. To much "show" and not enough "go", which is what the ricer's do. When you can't see the top of the wheels that means they're a little too big and low-pro.

Can you say..."pimp my ride"?!

It's not so bad I guess, I've seen much worse.

Tell me about it!! I cant say that i like the two tone paint. Even the interior is a little flashy...i really dont like the steering wheel. But i gotta say i like the exterior treatment in terms of the aftermarket body pieces....and the rims look pretty nice to me...i like bigger rims. Personally, i think 18" rims look nice on the fox, but i was surprised that i liked the 20"s so much. The car seems to sit nice on them.

Not sure how functional it will be for a daily driver.
Looks to me like it will have lots of problems with the tires rubbing fenders. My bet is the person who sold them to him got him first to sign a fitment waiver of responsibility.

On the upside if he has a good trailer for taking it to car shows? Than he has a TRUE Category KILLER.
He will always take a trophy with that car in my clubs 87/93 category.

Looks really nice
just not functional

The body kit is OK and the 18's are acceptable but the 20's are definite ricer.

The wheel design isn't bad and the rears look OK stuff under the lip but the front wheels stick out WAY too far. The interior wouldn't be so bad if he hadn't put in that steering wheel and the gauges and dash painted blue...but to each their own.

The paint on the outside isn't bad either...The sticker on the windshield is pure rice though.

Not the worst I have seen but definitely a car show queen...more flash than function...

Yes but you know....I won't fault someone for being a "ricer" if they have a good attitude....we all share the same passion for cars and if you have a good attitude then great. But there is a bad attitude that I do fault and you know what....5.0 owners back in the day had a large number of them that had that SAME attitude and we hated them for it. I find it interesting that the exact same attitude that many of these "ricers" have is the same attitude that 5.0 owners had back in 1987-93.....

You are too young to have experienced this but I did and we didn't like them back then....So start everyone off with a clean slate and let them show their true colors before you judge them.

Different tastes make the world go around....not everyone likes the same thing but what brings car guys together is the similar attitude toward the hobby and that seperates them from the idiots with attitude problems.

The front tires do seem to stick out a bit to far. Yet the car has a nice exterior. I'd like to see that car in person to really judge it, but the pictures look good. Of course that steering wheel does need to go, but otherwise I like the car.

To each their own I guess. I understand that the person who owns it probably thinks that his car is beautiful and what not. And I am pretty sure he devoted a lot of time & or money into getting the car to its current state. But I personally wouldn’t even take that thing to a demolition derby. The car is too gaudy for my personal tastes. I prefer function over fashion. But it is a nice car if you are into that sort of thing.

True that, I was one of those young guys with a hot 5.0 back in the day and I'm sure my attitude was disliked by others but I loved my Mustang(s) with just as much passion as anyone else.

i understand to an extent, but its different, ya know? like if u put a cage in ur car and a drag suspension and drag race it, thats ok, if u put a cage and suspension in it and go road racing, thats ok. But why is it we CANNOT stand the sight of these creations? its different then the 5.0 punks so to speak, some people have respect for camaros and such, i dont personally, but thats another story. I honestly believe the imports need to earn our respect, and they dont have the performance in order to. But thats not the issue either, i just think he went too far, i should of expressed my feeling different.......i guess.

Your missing my point....I am trying to help educate you here. Just because someone doesn't like the same things as YOU doesn't make them any less of an enthusiast. Who are YOU to just things by your tastes? you aren't anyone different than anyone else. You don't like Camaros....Neither do I other than the 67-69 models...but that doesn't mean that you don't have something in common and can get along great with a Camaro owner....You both like fast cars and there can be friendly rivalry but you can't fault someone for being different than YOU are or because they have different Tastes.

I don't care for the car above but I can appreciate the amount of work he has put into it to make it his own. Some people may not like what I have done to cars and I may not like what YOU do to cars but that doesn't mean we are arch enemies with them. As you get older you will learn and understand that you can have a lot in common with other enthusiasts who have different cars.....and you will also find those who have a bad attitude and that we don't like....but don't judge a book by it's cover....get to know someone before judging them as "not worthy" of your attention or something to that effect.

If everyone thought exactly the same then this would be a very boring world.....Just something to think about.
