302 supercharger/manifold on a 351W
Well I'm just finishing up gathering all of the parts I need for this install, I'm just waiting for my distributor to come back from price motor sports with the spacer pressed on. I decided to make a tutorial on how to do this 302 to 351 manifold swap and blower install. Once I get all of my parts back I will tear into the actual work but I just wanted to post this for those that may be interested in following this build over the next few weeks.
The blower is going on my 68 mustang but I wanted to post technical/speed part things in this forum since the fox guys are generally more into that than the first Gen. guys.
I will be replacing my tired valve springs with this install can anyone recommend an affordable set with higher than stock seat pressure that is somewhat affordable? I found a set from trickflow with retainers and all for $200 if I can find a better deal I'll take it!

A Man Just Needs Some....
Alright now I understand. I would have probably went full 302 instead or at least 302 heads but it seems like a good project. Definitely keep us updated on progress.

Why go full 302 or 302 heads? All the compression I lose with my big chambered 351 heads I gain back with the the boost and actually the low compression I have now puts me in an optimal place to be running boost, not to mention the added safety of having the beefier bottom end the 351 offers.

351 shortblock would be good. Big valve, big chamber 302 heads would take care of that. 70+cc with 202 valve trick flows would be my direction. But of course TF's are not cheap.

The windsor heads I have now have been cleaned up, and I believe I have 1.9" valves in them currently. I will be putting in new valve springs during the install to deal with the boost.

Wow have never heard of them before, sounds like an interesting concept I may look into it more later but right now I'm just trying to get the blower on before it gets snowy. I'm only planning on about 420-440 horsepower at the crank.

I had never really considered a harmonic an important mod I always just ran a stock one. Are all of you running an aftermarket balancer?
