I am only a year out of college and fairly new to purchasing my own cars. I am looking for a good project Mustang however my funds are not the greatest right now. I happened on a 1991 Mustang GT 5.0L in the paper listed for $2300 and the ad says it looks and runs good. I am going to call him to take a look at it tonight. What are some good and bad things I should look for when I go see it to help me decide whether or not to purchase it? Any advice would be appreciated.

I am having trouble finding a stock spoiler for this LX. Does anyone have any suggestions on where to go for it?

underdrive pulleys arent that great, for the minimal amount of hp gain, the work and cutting out of other things isnt worth it IMO, spend your money on: EXHAUST;headers, mufflers, pipes, etc..., 3:73 gears, throttle body, ram air, heads, cam, etc...
or if you really want to wait...BLOW IT

302 is in cubic inches, 5.0 is liters
Why would a starter be under the car?
On one?
What do you mean blow the car?
As in blown air induction, either turbocharge it, or supercharge. If he wants to wait and save the money for it.
I know pesonally when i got my first car i did eveything possible. I did all of my own work and had started doing mechanics at a young age. All i did was suggest a few things he might want to do in the future.
