I have a 1988 Convertible LX that has had the 4 Cyl pulled and a 302 added. It had (has) an Auto upgraded to an Auto OD trans. The problem I need help with is with the cross member. The original cross member has one hump for single exaust to pass though. I need one that will allow for the dual exhaust it will have on it. Found one on ebay that was supposed to work for it but it measured 22 and 3/4 inch from perch to perch and I need one that measures 25 1/4 to mount. I do not know if the difference is becuase of the convertible support or if I just got the wrong model year from the seller on ebay. Can anyone help me in finding this part?

Check with Late Model Restoration Supply or Mustang Parts Speciality (www.stangparts.com) they should have the correct "double hump" cross member.
