I found the owners manual and window sticker from a 70 Mustang Fastback (Sportsroof) that I sold way back in 1973. I sold it in Fairfax, Virginia.
Is there anyway to find out of the car is still out there? If so, I bet the owner would like to have the sticker and manual. I listed it on eBay, but I said I would stop the auction if the current owner could be found.
Any Ideas?
Below are some of the details from the sticker. It had a lot of options, kind of a Mach I in disguise!
Dark Ivy Green Metallic
VIN # is 0T02M138864 (at bottom left of sticker)
Assembly Plant: Metuchen
Base Price $2,872.00
Options:
351 4v (wow, only a $93 option) $93
Traction Lock $43
F70x14 Goodyear WSW Tires
Wide Oval Raised White Letters $77
Sports Deck Rear Seat $97
AM Radio (yes, it is listed as a option) $61
Tinted Glass Complete $32
Color-Keyed Racing Mirrors $26
Competition Suspension $31
Tachometer and Trip Odometer $54
Quick Ratio Steering $16
Total Options $530.00
Transportation Charges $80.45
Total: $3,482.45

Your only as old as you feel -- and I feel like driving my 73 Mustang Convertible.
I bought the 73 when it was 8 months old, back in February 1974 - I have a lot of cool stuff for it -- even the build sheets with a the assembly line codes.
I thought it would be nice to re-unite the 70's Sportsback Window Sticker with the car if it is still out there!
I notice you have a 66, I had one of those with the poney interior that I sold also back in the mid-70's. Should have kept it too!
Enjoy
