Found this car while trying to locate a car for a friend. Brought it home and my wife said that she had to have it - so it is her car now.

This is my 7th early car in the 14 years since we married - and she has never shown any interest at all in my other cars. I made the offer to find her a convertible in the same color combination - but she insists that she likes the coupe just as it is.

She also wants help with the suspension rebuild and tuneup - which is also a shocker....

It is a nice, rust free car that needs some mechanical attention. It was originally a 6 cylinder, but has been correctly changed over to a V8. All original floors and very clean body/interior. It also has the original owner's manual with service history from the fall of 66 and into 67 and an unusual "Guide to Safe Driving" that was part of the original paperwork.

It needs a suspension/steering rebuild, extensive tune up, and a new transmission. I have a newly rebuilt transmission from my parts car that I am going to try to swap in tomorrow. Today we are going to do the tune and pull the old transmission.

I have new steering/suspension components, shocks and springs on the way for next weekend's work

Anyway - I guess for the money it is a nice little car that I will not lose any money on, and it is great to see her enjoy my hobby -

Take a look -

No offense taken - I agree. We started dating 20 years ago and have been married about 14 years. I am aging and she is holding steady at 25.......
