Why is Shelby so popular and expensive?

IMO, we're seeing a bubble in pricing right now for several reasons:
* The new 05 is generating "Mustang interest" from new people.
* GISS brought a lot of the younger guys into the hobby.
* Speculators (who may have never even heard of Carroll Shelby before), are buying up some of the cars in anticipation of his passing.

When "the inevitable" does happen, prices will jump for a year or so, until the hobbyists (who have kept the hobby alive) can no longer afford the cars. Then prices will take a dump.

Sorry, but a Shelby is just a Mustang with a different data plate. There's nothng done to a SHelby that can't be done to a "regular" Mustang. :nono:
