What did you do to your mustang today?
Certain companies like Hagerty guarantee a flat bed tow if needed for up to 'x' dollars, plus they're what's called agreed value policies which is better than actual cash value(acv) or stated value. With acv you won't get what your car is worth, and stated value only set's the premium but only pays out acv instead of the value that was stated. Agreed value will pay out the value that you state. So what I'm getting at is, ask for an Agreed Value Classic Auto Policy.
To give you an idea, my '05 Cobalt with liability only I'm paying $145/Mo.(like I said Louisiana is very high), but my '78 Mustang II with:
- Liability at 100/300/100
- Un/Under Insured Motorist at 100/300
- Collision with a $50 deductible
- Comprehensive with a $0 deductible
- Towing up to $50
- Rental Reimbursement($30/Day max 30 days)

Looked at it through the garage window as I got into my Taurus to go to work.
Continued converting my brakes to dual circuit, decided to replace wheel cylinders and soft lines. Well it looks like I get to replace the I'll be replacing the metal line going to right front, I think the last time it was apart was some in early 1966.
I finally put on the parking brake cables, equalizer, lever and return spring that I bought 5 years ago. I can't believe I went through all that work and did not replace the shoes, hardware and wheel cylinders! I plan to try to convert to 4 lug rear discs this winter though so don't want to waste the money. The setup I pulled from a junkyard has drum in hat parking brake so my cable effort was not wasted.
I pulled my I6 out f my 65 today.
