What did you do to your mustang today?

On another forum I'm on we have a "what did you do to your car today" thread, it's one of my favorite threads and its great for moral and inspires you to go out do something to go and do something to your own car.
Today I changed out my aftermarket wheels for original rims and caps.

I am putting the interior back in my car. Switching to Pony interior. It's an original interior that I traded for. Fighting the carpet on the tunnel. But it's almost done.

I watched mines sit in the driveway since I'm needing to drop the tranny to replace the flex plate. Just waiting for this weekend so I have uninterrupted time

1967 Mustang Interior

This was actually the past weekend, but we finally got to put the dash back together after working out the wiring issues. Anyone who has built one of these can understand the pain of putting an original harness back into the entire car. The only thing left to do is put the side windows in and this frame off is done!

Today I went and assessed the extent of my rust damage to the hatchback. I've decided to shop for a new one(which I've found 2!), as opposed to repairing mine.

I stared at my 5.0 in the garage, while it rained all day. My CDC performance grille came in today though

I'm envious of everyone in the lower 48 that buys their parts from companies like CJ that have free shipping. Shipping up here to Alaska for the smallest of parts is expensive, not to mention big parts like sheet metal that they charge me truck freight. All that extra money could have help buy a ton of more parts haha.

I'm jealous of first gen mustang owners that can buy parts very readily from a company ;]

Not nearly as many as I saw when I lived in Texas. And you only get too see the classics from may to sept since it snows the rest of the time. Here's what my fastback looked like last weekend haha

Well, I finished putting the interior in and went for a ride! Runs pretty good considering its been under construction for a year and a half. Must admit, I still have to put the door panels on, but that's no big deal.
