hey guys, i just bought a new volt meter(or whatever you call it) and mounted it and it i looks great. But i cant seem to find a 12volt + wire under my dash that works with it. I'v tryed about 6 or 7 different wires and ground locations, but still nothing. any ideas about were to hook it all up?

It should go to the POS side of the battery or Solonoid, or some are connected directly to the back of the alt. You want to read the true voltage of the system, not the voltage of the wire you just tapped. So when you hit the accelerator, you should see it rise and fall a little bit with the RPMs.

If I were you, I would get an ammeter...they are much more active and fun to watch......tells you that your alternator is working too.
