guy when you install a tranny do you do it all together or do you do the bell housing separate ??????, we are working on my sons 65 coupe

 

if you have a fmx put the converter onto the flywheel then the bellhousing then instal trany, but careful...must wigle trany to line up pump with converter then slide all of it flush together....my dad helped me with that, he is a tranny mechanic and owns his on trany shop...he says that way you better know what the f*** your doing b/c you screw up the converter and pump if its not perfect. the safe but difficult way is all togethere with a c4 or c6 its gotta be all together
