ARGYLE, TX - July 23, 2004 (PRB) - The Terlingua Racing Team is back! Legend says it all started back in 1860 when a pair of six-horse mining wagons lined up in the dirt street running through the southwest Texas town of Terlingua to see which team was the fastest. Then, in the 1960’s, automotive artist Bill Neale sketched out a nifty logo and Carroll Shelby slapped it on the side of his racing cars and ran under the name and colors of the Terlingua Racing Team.

Now, nearly 40 years later, you have the opportunity to become an OFFICIAL MEMBER of the Terlingua Racing Team. For only $20.00 per year, your membership kit includes an 8x10 color certificate, membership card and a Terlingua Racing Team decal. You'll receive newsletters and other info and pictures of team history throughout the year. The Terlingua Racing Team also offers the ONLY authorized TRT collectible merchandise, currently including T-Shirts, Decals, Lapel Pins and Zippo Lighters...all emblazoned with the full color Terlingua Racing Team logo...with more items coming soon!

To purchase memberships or merchandise on the internet, log on to http://www.terlinguaracingteam.com and select the "Club & Lifestyle" section. You may also obtain a color brochure by e-mailing us at terlinguaracingteam@yahoo.com or writing to us at Terlingua Racing Team, P. O. Box 205, Argyle, TX 76226.

Why are "Shelby" and "Send Money" always in the same story?

You won't be bothered with newsletters or other info throughout the year. The Clone Racing Team won't offer ANY authorized collectible merchandise, only cheap rip-offs of real products!...with more items coming soon!

To purchase membership on the internet, just Paypal YOUR hard-earned money to MY account!

The above was a JOKE! Don't send money! :nono: :bang: I like what they're doing with the Terlingua CARS, but I think all the commercialization is starting to get out of hand. Just my .02. I'd much rather see people build their OWN vision than buy somebody else's... Unless they want to send that $40-$50K to ME instead!

The yellow/black Terilingua on the cover of M&F last month really had me drooling.

Actually the supplied rack did not fit. After reading that article I contacted DM, and after a long discussion they revealed that they made their own frame bracket. The unit that F/River supplied did not work with headers. What a surprise.
