Striping on my 66
Uh, Ummm, my engine is that clean!
I think that is one of the best things I like about shows. You can get all sorts of ideas for your own pony without turning a wrench. I have seen several things that I thought would be cool that turned out to be not so at all.
And, like in this case, I see things that I didn't think would work--white Le Mans stripes--that look excellent.

that engine compartment looks slick, very industrial yet classy and smooth as well. i like it a lot. hey Jay pick some ideas from this one for your car.

I'm after a more "modern production look" if that makes sense... like something they would mock up for the Detroit Auto Show to debut a new engine or something.
well i wasn't talking about the gray painted bars really. just the overall look of the engine itself, flat paints on shiny parts kind of thing. i guess i'm one of those guys that can just see potential in everything
Yeah, sorry don't want to side track here on you either, but Cloney what the heck is Jerry using for an air filter cover? It looks like some type of open cell foam or something, like attempting to make it breath better from a functional scoop or something like that spiffy K&N set up.

I like the white on gold - hopefully he's got a white/gold deluxe interior?
