Time for some new pics! Made it over for my weekly assault. Made some great progress. Check the pics and comments:
This is a shot of the hood. I had a massive dent where you see it sanded and filled. This side shot really shows off how far we've come with it. We still had to fill it 1 more time to really put a final cover on it. So close!

Here's a shot of the passenger's side. We filled all of the holes where the pop rivets held the molding in place. It'll look nice and smooth when she's finished.

Closer shot of the Fiberglass work over the emblem holes. This was easier than welding, and should help prevent rust in the area. We used filler later to fill the dips.

Last 1. I don't want to crowd the server with my thousands of pics. This one shows after I sanded down the body filler on the driver's side below the door. Nice and smooth!

We are so close all we need to do now is get a new fender, primer it, Water block it, primer it again and get ready for the paint. Then the car will be painted.

Stangerx,

Nice color. Are you going to add the stripes too? If so, I would recommend the stripe configuration that the Shelby cars had. It gave a better illusion than equally width stripes. If can find it the Branda catalog as well as online.

Easy there killer. You know we have a ton more to do than just that. There is still a bunch more body filler that has to go on as well as fiberglass. After we get that straight, we're still going to have to fit that fender, trim all of the edges around the doors and such to get rid of the knicks and scratches, pass over the car one last time to hit all of the scratches and dips we missed, Smooth all of that out, and THEN we can prime it, hit the spots we missed, and prime it again THEN paint, do the stripes, and finally clear it 3 times.

The work load is overwhelming, but my patience is strong! I'll shoot some more pics when I get back and fit the fender on. Only the best will get the posts.

Thanks KG. Yeah. I definately am doing the stripes. I found a clip in a mustangs unlimited catalog that gives the exact mesurements across the car for the lemans style. That's what I'm going with. I think it will look cooler when it's done then just strait stripes.

Interior you ask?
Here's my best shot I could find. Mind you, this is about 3+ years old now. I have since made a lot of changes to spruce up the interior (like the legitimate pony steering wheel, not the grant knock off), but for the most part, this is what it looks like. It's the white on teal pony interior. Matches the outside of the car nicely:
