sleeper II?

i love my 95 GT nut i have a secret love for mustang twos, hehe. i always wanted to buy a cobra II with a bad motor, restore it to factory interior exterior, and drop a nice ford 302 in it, lots of horsepowere real fast, creat a sleeper that NO ONE would expect. anyone have one like that? just curious

i don't have a cobra, i have a ghia.
i placed not a 302 but a 1967 298 cu this with some goodies from edelbrock.....about 260 horses.
many people do not beleve it has that amount of horsepower because it looks not like a muscle car from Ford.
last a man with a volvo c70 wanted to play a little by a traffic light.. when it went green i left 2 black stripes and i could see the volvo in my rear mirror becomming as small as a dinky toy.
that is what i like, my car doesn't look racy, but is always ready to show it's muscle.
take a look at my webside and look for ourself.

I would acquire a nice II that needed a motor, tranny, and maybe a little TLC on the apperance.
Then I'd get me a '95 GT automatic drivetrain front to back complete, bolt it in, get a custom exhaust and driveshaft, then eat unsuspecting cars for lunch. And still pass any inspections up to 1995 levels.

Was just out cruising in one tonight....My buddy has a '77 with a 408 Stroker, I'll try to snap a pic of it, its midnight blue with a Shelby GT350 style hood scoop, Weld Wheels and real clean, no stripes or tacky add ons. Runs high 10's its one of my favorite Mustangs around here and pretty much the quickest. About all that gives it away is the extreme lumpy idle!
