Its been 2 yrs since i heard my mustang run. Well charged battery and dumped fuel in carb and she fired ran for a second and died. Here for 2 yrs i let it sit thinkin in was an electrical problem. Nope it was a freakin fuel probelm so within next few weeks a fuel pump is being picked up.

My 69 has 28 yr old gas in it...wonder if its any good?

Talking to my 14 yr old on tonight, we spent the summer rebuilding a mark vii for my 16 yr old son, the younger ones wanting to start shopping for a truck- thinking, maybe (just maybe) it's time for dad to put one of his old toys back together first... If we get the 429 assembled, get the mustang patched up, it would free up a lot of room in the garage... Even if I just get STARTED on the 69, get it mounted on the rotisserie/gantry so we can roll it around easier it would be a good thing. My old 429 last fired up in 1980- I did a cheap rebuild on it after wrecking my galaxie, needed redone just from sitting so long...would be cool to see it back in one piece again, think I already bought all the parts for it to boot.

That is the exact reason my gets driven. Its not a shelby or boss so it meant to be drivin on the roads.
