Serious Long Shot!

I was the previous owner of a 66 Ford Mustang GT coupe, cream yellow w/black deluxe interior, auto, console, Pony interior, A/C, PS, PB, tunnel speaker, GT wheels, remote left mirror, emergency flashers. I had the car from 1976-1978 o/a Athens, Ga when it was sold to a car dealer in Winterville, Ga and then later sold to a minister in SC who restored cars. The car had mismatched fog lamps, twin trumpet pipes and a fm convertor in 1978. I am wondering if anyone has a 66 Mustang GT car that might match that description or know of it. I know this is long shot but wanted to try to find it.

Maybe if you had the V.I.N. number, you could do a title search at your local court house. Also maybe your local police department could check the V.I.N. number too. I hear the police run a V.I.N. number to get a name and address of the cars owner on my police scanner everyday. Just a thought

Well, a couple of years ago, I tried to trace the car by the Clarke county tag I had but the records didn't go that far back, to 76-78. I don't have the VIN, wish I did, that would make things much easier!

Find out if you know someone in the insurance industry. They can usually pull a few strings and find the current owner/last regestered owner of the vehicle. You just need the VIN.

edit: if you want to PM me the VIN I may be able to help you out.
