Rim Widths for First Generation Cars?
Rim Widths for First Generation Cars?
Need to buy 2 replacement rims for my '67 coupe project, but I'm at a loss regarding rim width. I've got two good standard 14", five bolt rims, but I can't tell what width they are. The tires are P195/70-R14, and the rim is stamped "8MD" (I think). I'd like two more (three with spare) just like them, but can't really measure accurately with tires on (and not sure how width is measured). Bottom line: What width 14', five-bolt rims take that size tire? I'm assuming rims are pretty standard for '64 -1/2 through '68 (at least).
