Power brake conversion

Hello all,
I have a 68 fastback with a front disk brake conversion, rear drum brakes (switch to disk at a later date) and a wilwood master cylinder. What is the easiest, cheapest power conversion?
Thanks,

I just completed this conversion on my 67 mustang. I purchased a master cylinder and 9" power booster from a vendor on EBay. It ran a good $180.

Make sure, if you don't have one yet, to acquire a proportioning valve to decrease brake pressure to rear brakes.

If you are planning on running disk on all four corners, make sure to get a master cylinder with larger reservoirs that will provide sufficient pressure to all calipers. I'm running Granada brakes up front and Versailles out back.

That's what I am running too! Granada/Versailles. How does it work for you?

I did hear about this problem. Someone around here should be able to help you. I went an entirely different direction with a 1996 Mustang hydroboost unit on my 1967, so some interesting modifications needed to be made on my part.

Yes you will have to get a different brake pedal. It's a power brake pedal which is longer and I believe the angle is little different.

You will have to drill out the housing that sits the pedal and mounted a little higher. It's an easy fabrication. More time consuming than anything.

I hope that made sence.

Yes, when you remove the mounting bracket for the pedal, take a closer look at it. Higher in the bracket you will notice a pair of pre-drilled holes from the factory for power brake pedals.

The only way to access this bracket is by removing from the car. There is not enough room to work on it while mounted.

Yeah, a 351C 2V with a 4 barrel now. Whats more, the stang started its life as a 6 cylinder. It has a warmed up 351c now long tube headers, AOD with a couple of mods, Versailles 9" 3.70 rear end w/ disks, Granada disks up front, full power brakes, and a complete suspension from mustangs plus.

It's been years in production, with a few more to go.
