In 2001 or 2002; i cannot remember now ( it hurts too much ) ... I walked away from one just like this ...
http://www.bcfords.com/69_boss_429_1431/69-429-1431.htm
... the asking price was under 50K at the time.

it was not perfect; but again the price was in late 2001 frame before the surge of populatrity; back then you could easily afford a 69 mach1 with a 428 for about mid 20s; now you cant touch one for under 50 and the bossess; well ... 100, 120, 150, 180 ... do I hear 200????
oh well ... maybe better to build your own.
Also I was kinda scared to buy it; ... the burning question was ... IS THIS REALLY A BOSS or a clone??? I had a couple of people look at it and they gave me thumbs up but .... that doubt lingered over my head. I personally searched for all the VIN tags and found all but one; the one closest to the raditor????
but i walked because Mr Bush needed my money.
