Hey, this forum was dead, so i thought i would share my opinion of these mustangs. Are the my favorite? no, but i cannot honestly tell you which style mustang is! I love them all, i would be just as happy driving a mustang II as i would a fox body or a 05. It is the fact that it is a mustang, and people respect the car. later.

This is the only Mustang I have a strong dislike for. Still I respect it for what it is! If I had one I wouldn't knock it at all!

I have a special place in my heart for the ol' IIs. My first ever car was one. There's a post about it here somewhere... If I had time, money, space, tools, etc, I'd find an old II hatchy and do it up with a '95 drivetrain. In orange. Because that's how I imagine it to be...

Sigh.

So many times do I hear "IIs? Eww." It's a shame, really. They're not all bad...

IIs rock. i think of them as equal with all stangs except the 71-73 n S197. those last two are tied for first

I like Mustang II. Sure, they weren't the fastest but they were the most important Mustangs in Mustang history. They had that unique look which I really like. I never liked coupe model, but hatchback model looks awesome. King Cobra with that front bumper or Cobra with those racing stripes.
